Folks the Quick Silver World Professional Surfers competition is going on
right now in Long Beach and I can't recommend it enough for both surfers
and NON-SURFERS alike. Bring a beach chair,blanket,raincoat,camera and a
thermos of hot chocolate and watch and experience someone else's passion.
Share the beach with the young and the old,the pale and the tanned,the locals
and the tourists from far away lands.
The best surfers in the world are here now and I don't think they'll be coming
back this way anytime soon. The hurricane surges have provided Long Beach
with a great stage for these guys and gals who come from all over the world
to surf in our backyard. GO !!! Hang and enjoy. It's something you certainly
won't regret.
