In February the new North Walk of the GWB opened to walkers and cyclists. Cyclists now have easy access to the Bridge from NY or NJ. This past Sunday there were hundreds of riders using this new entrance to cross the bridge. This will enventually become cyclists only as the south walk is being reconstructed and when completed will be open to walkers only.
