Skidaway island bike club GA update

HI guys the weather last Saturday was in the cloudy low 50s at 9:00 AM. I had a turnout of 2 bikes which was a crowd. WE biked to the South Harbor which was about 8 miles. Most of the bikers only want to bike for an hour or less and we usually bike around 10 miles. Maybe the turnout will increase when the weather warns up. People down in Ga do not like to bike in nice crisp long island winter weather.

last week I had a turnout of 0 bikers. the temp was a nice sunny 30F. This weather would have generated a crowd for a C+ ride out of the Sunshine Mall. I biked about 28 miles by myself. What I usually do on Saturdays is. I lead my 10 mile ride and then I bike solo for about another 15 to 20 miles around Skid away Island. ON Sundays no body down hear bikes they are all in church.

The trees are greening up down south and the flowers are starting to grow. The live oak trees are shedding there leaves in March. this is our second leaf season. I am very busy at work. I work as a land scraper at Valley Crest on Skid-away Island. The grass is starting to grow is spots. The temp in Savannah today was in he low cloudy and rainy 50s and the temp in Bell port LI was in the Sunny low 60s.
