Come join me for the 8th Annual Lobster Ride. This route will take us up to Manorville, where we will take a break, so either bring a snack or buy something at McDonald's or the bagel shop. The ride will average 12.2 - 12.7, and I will have cue sheets.

Please arrive at 8:30 am for a 9:00 am departure from the Water's Edge Restaurant (in East Moriches) parking lot, 215 Atlantic Ave., East Moriches (click on the location above for directions).

NOTE: Anyone is welcome to participate in the ride. The ride ends with an optional lunch at the restaurant, and you must be pre-registered for the lunch, as it is now FILLED - there are no "day of" lunches.

Riding to Orient this morning on a structured pace line ride out to Orient . Group will stay together
for most of the ride with the exception of a few fly outs which will have regroups afterwards.
Any one who has ridden with me this summer can hang on this ride. Short break at Orient state park.

I tend to be long winded so click "read more" on the bottom for the entire post. – This is it boys and girls, guys, and gals, ladies and gents or whatever is politically correct now-a-days; this is going to be one of the best days ever. What more could you want; lobster, a great ride with your friends and hopefully, a beautiful sunny day with little wind.

We’ll be taking a scenic ride eastward with an average pace between 14.5. & 15.0 mph., perhaps a tad into the B range; naturally the road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph We get to pass by the Eau De Perfume Duck farm as well as taking a short jaunt down Dune Road. Between mile 15 and 17 there will be a bathroom break. After that we head back for our super delicious lunch.

Ride Leaders - If this ends up being the only B ride posted we will break into smaller groups if there are more than about 10-12 riders. In that case I will be looking for volunteers to take out part of the group.
