NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Off to Briermere's, with a brief viewing stop to see the American Bison Farm (hopefully they will be in a pasture near the road). Briermere's has a picnic area, and indoor bathrooms.   You can chip in for a group pie, or purchase individually sized tasty baked goods. Coffee, tea and water are available for purchase.  To join this ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your full name and date of ride. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:00am.

 We have changed the *** ride start time to: 8:30 AM ***!   So we can get back before it gets hot!

We will also have some water stops along the route, to make sure that everyone is drinking! 

We may alter the pace, depending on the group.  IF you maintain your hydration you will have no problems!

Easy going ride for those who want to take it easy.  We'll stop at Hecksher first for a quick restroom stop and move onto Islip Beach.  Pack a snack and drinks since there won't be an actual food stop.
