A little longer route beginning with the Reverse 51, going to Red Creek and Pleasure Drive. This ride is about increased miles not increased speed! We need to gradually build up our miles for endurance and upcoming centuries. Please contact me if you have any questions about this route. Rest stop at Wildwood Lake and after Pleasure Drive if needed. 8:30 am start, Hope to see you there!
Today's Mi Tierrita ride will be going to the Beach. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there. The average pace for the ride will be 15 mph, depending on the roads and wind direction. The road speed will be between 15.0 and 16.0 mph. The usual break-a-ways will happen for those who desire. We'll stop along the way for a bathroom break around mile 10. Don’t forget to bring a snack. Do you know what AGUAPANELA is? Come and find out. Pulls are appreciated
More miles = more smiles. This week we will be adding a few more miles, after the break at the bagel shop in Riverhead.
The pace on this ride has lately been on the higher end of the B/B+ range, as everyone is getting stronger. Still, we won't leave anyone on their own on this ride.
This will be a paceline ride, where everyone will work together to share pulls into the wind. it will be a controlled paceline, though.
So come on out and get those Spring miles in. It will get you ready for Summer riding!
