Off to Nettie's for a relaxing time and treats. Please remember they have been very good about us using their property, chairs, tables, couches, rockers and restrooms, so feel free to purchase their wonderfull snacks, rolls, coffee, etc. I will review the requirements for entering Nettie's as part of the safety talk I give before we at take off. Just reminding you as it gets towards winter, Netties will have delicious soups, and a room with tables and a fireplace. This is the ride which was rained out on October 16th.
We did this ride last month and everyone had such a great time (Pizza for some, then Ice Cream for almost everyone) that we are doing it again!
Join us for this easy and almost completely flat ride from Mattituck to Riverhead, where we will take a break at Briermere. When we return to Mattituck, we can get a slice of pizza (if you want) and then go to the Magic Fountain Ice Cream for a treat (if you want)! {all food is at personal expense}
Route may be flexible, due to the winds, so probably no cue sheets. The average pace will be 12.3 - 12.8, or so, depending on the weather and those in the group.
Please be aware the start is at the Mattituck Marketplace. Bathrooms available on Main Road in the CVS, across from the Magic Founatin.
