One if by land, two if by sea!. Do the midday bike ride with Lanny Wexler as we ride in the hoof prints of Paul Revere. The ride begins at Old North Bridge in Concord and goes 15 to 20 miles along the Minuteman Bike Path into downtown Boston via Cambridge and the ivy league halls of Harvard University. On our way into “enemy territory”; we’ll give our regards to the Red Sox and “quietly curse Fenway Park” as we ride by. Bike along the Freedom Trail and visit such landmarks as the State House, the Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, Beacon Hill and more. On Sunday we’ll ride the scenic 14 mile Charles River Bike Path before heading home. Option on Friday to ride 11 mile Norowottuck Rail Trail in Northampton, MA for people who can leave early. Return to Concord on MBTA. $76 for 2 nights lodging double occupancy. Single rooms extra. Meals, transportation not included. Space limited to 10. Helmets mandatory. REGISTER BY JUNE 1.
