    I've tweaked this route again, removing Old North Road, and also some of New Suffolk Ave (and that huge pothole!) on the way back, for smoother ride. One rest stop at about mile 20 at the 7-11 in Southold, and wait-ups as needed, such as at Oregon & Mill Rds.
