Dune Road with rain and wind is not good for riding: Ride is cancelled. There are numerous water views and several scenic stops on this ride.   At mile 7 there will be a restroom stop in Westhampton Beach, than we will head out to Dune Road. Heading East, we stop at Dolphin Lane for views of the Atlantic, than ride out to the Inlet, sit on the benches facing the Inlet, and have a snack that riders should bring along. From the Inlet we do a couple of scenic stops in Quogue, than head over to the Quogue Preserve for a quick look around and a bathroom break.  From the preserve we ride to a pocket park in Westhampton Beach, just seconds from the Beach Bakery, and a two minute walk to a 7-11.  After the break we return to our cars, a 7 mile ride. Timewise, this is a long ride, so plan your day accordingly. Note:  Strong winds can result in the ride being completly changed or cancelled.  Be sure to check the ride calendar the night before the ride, and/or by 08:00am the day of the ride.
