First of all, thanks again to Ron (and Bobby for letting me edit this post) for putting this together again. This is going to be a great ride. We’ll start out from the parking lot weaving our way through Patchogue on the way to Corey Beach. We will NOT be following the fast, faster, and fastest groups until they are small specs in the distance. 

This will be accomplished with an average pace between 11.5 and 12.5 mph, +/- depending on wind conditions, tide, position of the moon, humidity and other factors. Naturally the road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. We will be going as fast as the slowest rider and at no time will you be left behind.

When we get back to the parking lot you can grab a bite at Flo’s Luncheonette, where they have umbrellas, tables and chairs before going just another 0.6 miles and 11 feet to the Blue Point Brewery where we can sample/buy the new stuff that is hitting the market. You can also skip this part and bring your own snacks and food to share with your ride leader.

So, come out and join us for a fun filled day with your fellow tea drinkers. I will bring some non-alcoholic beverages for those that don’t want to try the new stuff. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30AM if necessary. As always, Newbies strongly encouraged to come out and ride with us.
