Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

This is the fourth of the SEAGULL CENTURY training rides. You DO NOT have to be doing the century to go on any of these rides. The ride will be about 51 miles and I'm sure you will have no problems with it. We may take turns at the front, this way you can enjoy the wind in your face and be the first to smell the roses, or the road kill.

Today’s route will take us to back to Manorville once again. The average pace for this ride will be between 14.8 & 15.0 mph +/-, depending on the wind and other factors it could be in the lower "B" range. Naturally the road speed will be slightly higher (15-17 faster down hill) to produce the average. Around mile 28 or so we’ll make a pit stop; you can go to Mickey D’s or the deli. Around mile 40 we’ll make one more pee/rest stop. There will be a few long spots along the route where one can stretch the legs if desired, working off any extra calories gained at the rest stop. Make sure you bring water and something with electrolytes in it. Use only approved water bottles, we don’t want any accidents; no original store bought bottles in those cages, please!

Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:00AM if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride.
