Nice evening, mostly flat, 16 mile ride in and around Calverton. The ride start location, Veterans Memorial Park, is new. It's located on Route 25, 3.5 miles east of the William Floyd Parkway on the right side after the baseball fields and before the National Cemetery. The average pace for the ride will be between 13.5 to 14.5 mph. Cruising speed at times may be higher to produce the average. There will be a short rest stop around mile 7. No one will be dropped.
