NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Ride through the Three Village area: Stony Brook, Setauket, Old Field + Poquott.  

Country roads, rollers, water views. 

Ride should come in at a C+/B- pace, 13-14mph average, being slowed by hills, rollers and turns.  At times we will be cruising in the 17+mph range. 

Bring food and drink as there are no store stops.

Ride includes multiple breaks, at least 3.

Additional 3 mile loop through Crane Neck, a consideration. 

Emma Clarke Library bathroom, at ride start, opens at 9:30am

For this Flat ride the Average speed is 11.5-12.5mph depending on riders, wind, tide, position of moon and leaders disposition with a distance of 18-23 miles. Nobody gets left behind and newbies always welcome and well taken care of. Any cancellation will be before 12:30Pm. No need to text me.

Park in south side lot across from RR station.
