NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Join me for this ride from Yaphank to Nettie's, where there are bathrooms available, as well as tasty delights! The route will be determined the moring of the ride, so no cue sheets.
This will be a TRUE B- ride, that will average 14 - 14.8, depending on the winds, the riders, etc. So, if you are looking to do a real B- ride, this ride will be what it is posted.

The Start time has changed to 10AM and the mileage back to 32
Due to a conflick with another ride which I didn't notice. I have changed the Ride to a "B" ride. We will finish in the mid B range around 15.5.
Going to Manorville for a change. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 20. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. The ride could end up a mile or two longer depending on the route.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.9 to 15.0 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability, tailwinds, downhills, break-a-ways and other conditions.All of these conditions could change the final average one way or the other. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (15 -17 mph.) to produce the average.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0715 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
