Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Leaving Oakdale RR we will be heading to Bellport. Our food stop will be at the Bellport Deli. Depending on the weather & route this ride may be a few miles more or less than posted.
This is a B- ride with an average speed of 14.5 to 15 mph, road speeds may reach 17-18mph. Check the ride calender for any changes posted by 7:00am day of ride. Any questions call Mike at 516 448-8545
Nettie's has soups&rolls, and a variety of baked goods. Indoor seating both with a fireplace, and without, and outdoor seating. Bathrooms are available. The soups were hearty when I was there last week, and the glazed pumpkin spice donuts were unbelieveable. For info: contact Bill G. at 631-356-3036. Strong winds could reduce the ride by a few miles. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:45am.
Park in overflow lot south of the main lot. We'll ride to Bellport for our break. If it looks like rain in the afternoon, this ride maybe changed to a C so others can join us who might have been doing Tom's afternoon ride. Check back for any changes which would be posted no later than 7 am.
Easy endurance A- pace. Pulls at around 200W or 3W/kg on the climbs, no more. It'll be chilly so this will be a Non-Stop ride with only one brief restroom break. This will be a steady paced ride, no surging or sprints. If you want to ride hard, this is the wrong ride for you, I encourage you to step up to Jeremy's A+...
Join me for this easy and almost completely flat ride from Riverhead to Mattituck, where we will take a break at the Deli on Love Lane. We will return through Jamesport, up and around Riverhead, and end up at the start. There will be cue sheets.
The average pace will be 12.9 - 13.6, or so, depending on the weather and those in the group.
This will be a fun and fast 50 mile ride out of Calverton, like the ol' school Jim Drago Saturday rides. It will average somehwere between 21-22 mph depending on the size and makeup of the group. We will have a wait up at the top of Little Flower and a quick stop at the SBRA favorite Gas Station (at mile 30 or so).
PLEASE CHECK BACK SATURDAY MORNING at 8am for change, cancellation due to weather.
Hope to see you there!
