NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Route has been modified to avoid the worst potholes on Dune Road. Pit stop at Cupsogue beach .Bring snacks "The Beach Hut" has limited service this early. Return inland. Paceline 19-22 mph as conditions permit. (slower with a headwind, faster with a tailwind) Avg 17.5 or so. No one riding advertized pace will be left behind. Faster riders you know the drill, just take a cue sheet.
<p>Today’s Mi Tierrita ride will be going to Smith’s Point. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there and of course the Woodside bigger incline. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.7 to 15.0 mph, +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, and other conditions which could put the ride in the lower part of a "B". The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph. We'll stop along the way for coffee and a pee break. There are a few places along the route where eg stretches can be be done for those who wish. PARKING: Use the area of the parking lot on the SOUTH side. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30AM, if necessary. We will mirror part of Bobby's ride (with his permission and his cue sheet). The average pace for the ride will be between 11-12.5 mph, give or take depending tide, wind direction, slowest rider and road conditions. We'll stop along the way for a pee break. As usual there will be a spot or two where one can stretch the legs if desired. PARKING: Use the area of the parking lot on the WEST side. The restaurant is in Patchogue on the South side of Montauk Hwy about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile East of Route 112. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00AM if necessary. Newbies always welcome and Nobody left behind.
Moving ride to 10am because of work. This will be an easy paced ride, speed will be 13-15.5mph. There are some nice water views along the way. No one left behind. Check back day of ride for any changes by 8:30am. Park in the northwest corner behind the stores.
The June executive board meeting will be held on June 25th at 7pm at Panera Bread in Bohemia.
