If you missed the Shelter Island BBB tour or just want to ride it again now's your chance! Meet at the Mattitick RR station, and we'll follow the BBB route, with an extra tour of New Suffolk and a couple of extra miles on Shelter Island. Deli stop will be on Shelter Island, and we'll have our lunch at Wade's Beach. There are a few short climbs on Shelter Island, and some rollers. As always, a moderate B pace, and nobody gets dropped. Bring money for lunch, and the round-trip ferry is $5. Please be ready to roll at 8am. Any ride changes / cancellation will be posted by 7am on Saturday.
This is an extended RP2IPBP ride all the way out East top the point.
110 miles is an upper estimate -- may be little less, depends on the number of scenic bypasses I actually take :)

Come out and join me for a nice morning ride from Sayville to Bellport. We'll start at 8:30 so we can beat the heat, get in a stop at the Bellport dock to view the Great South Bay, and get back so you have a good part of the day for yourself. Either bring a snack or you may purchase something at the Bellport Deli. This is a structured C+ ride which will average 12.2 - 12.7, depending on wind, riders, etc. There will be cue sheets and no one will be dropped. NOTE: Park on the South Side of the train station.
Change of pace today and lets go have pie! Beautiful scenic route with a great destination. This is a 16.-16-5 average pace and we will paceline out to Briermere. Check for updates the night before and morning of the ride.

Repeat of last Saturday's ride-park behind Wendy's on Old Neck Road. We will head to the Bean and Bagel for our break around mile 16. In order to earn that bagel or flagel, we need to do the rollers on Mill Road (at your own pace). Cell phone 516-330-1542. LOW C+ pace, depending on wind direction.
Park in King Kullen lot in the area nearest to, and facing, McDonald's and 7-11. There will be a deli stop just before the park. Wildwood has restrooms and a nice picnic area. **Update 6/19/2015 – 9:30AM. I’m sorry but, I need to CANCEL the Ride. I just received a call from the fence company telling me they will be here Saturday morning; I need to be home. I apologize for the cancellation and hope to see you Sunday**
A gentle, flat ride through Stony Brook to Setauket. We'll explain group riding and how to ride the streets safely. There will be a coffee and snack stop at a deli about halfway. Please make sure to bring your helmet, water bottle and a spare tube. Make sure before you leave your house that your tires are properly inflated (ideal pressure for inflation is on your tire wall). It's hard to pedal when tires are mostly flat! Questions before ride day? Please email me via this post. Questions day of ride? Please call my cell, 631-835-1454
