NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This ride from Eastport to Quogue will have the same pace as last time, good for fast B- or slower B riders. It will include a swing into Manorville, a gradual rise along Rt. 111, a few heavy rollers, 3 miles of go at your own pace, and of course a stop at the Beach Bakery. No one will be dropped and wait ups where necessary. Check the ride calendar for any weather or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00 AM if necessary. See the many beaches of this Southold hamlet on mostly tree shaded and lightly traveled roads. The route is mostly flat but has some rolling hills near the end of the ride on Soundview Avenue.
