I have made 2 routes for this ride; we’ll be using the one that is appropriate for the wind direction on ride day. We’ll be going to; it’s a surprise since I don’t know which route will be used - - but you will like either one. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.3 to 15.0 mph, give or take depending on the wind direction and road conditions. The road speed will be between 15 and 17 mph. We'll stop along the way for coffee and a pee break. As usual there will be a spot or two where one can stretch the legs if desired. PARKING: Use the area of the parking lot on the WEST side.

My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride or need directions to the start. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00AM if necessary.

Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

Thursday, April 30th - 5:00 PM start out of Meat Farms (on 347) in Smithtown - Approx 40ish miles. We have a great route that heads to Eatons Neck - flats, steady inclines and hilly sections. Safety is our #1 Priority!! Please be self-sufficient with regards to hydration - mechanicals/equipment - having a sense of the area - etc. Def a very fast moving paceline on the flats/steady inclines (high intensity). Inclines - we also hit the inclines very hard with wait-ups at the top or at the end of the stretch/road which would be before the next turn. P.S. We usually show-up at Meat Farms 5/couple mins of on our bikes...
