we ride to ridge and return to ecology center for a social gathering at the pavilion. a sweatshirt and gloves are recommended.

all riders are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item (dog/cat food too!) which will be donated to a local food pantry.

also, bring some food to share with your fellow club members for an informal gathering at the pavillion. home baked goodies are supreme but munchies and store bought stuff are also good.

**I’m long winded again so click "more” at the bottom for the full post.**This ride is being organized by Ron so show your support; this way we can talk him into organizing the Oktoberfest again next year. It will probably be cold so dress warm and think about how fortunate we really are. Think about those less fortunate and perhaps you can bring some canned food with you to be collected and donated to a local charity. This also includes pet food for our dogs and cats. If you really feel charitable and would like to adopt kittens I have 2 black ones about 8 weeks old. Don’t laugh; I just thought I would throw it out there.

This is very important... Please bring something for the party after the ride. Me, I like cookies so that’s what I’ll bring since they go good with both mimosas and coffee. This all sound so good maybe we should just skip the ride; just kidding.

The ride will be between 22 and 28 miles with an average somewhere between 14.0 and 15.0 mph. I will decide on the route the day of the ride based on the temperature, ground conditions, and the wind direction in order to make the ride as pleasant for you as possible during this time of the year.

So what you need to do:

We are going to be outside so if you need to bring something to put over your cycling clothes don't forget to pack it before you leave.!

**Changed from C+ to C as I am not riding very often. Pace adapted to those who come out. Multi level ride to celebrate the end of 2014 with your biking buddies.
