NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

I guess everyone has to go home today and either prepare a Thanksgiving feast or help with it. Let's do a slower pace and not get beat up too bad.

I do not want to exceed 18mph on this trip unless we are going downhill or have a fantastic tailwind.

This ride goes to Manorville McD's.

Please check the post before coming. I may have to cancel even if the weather is fine.

**Update – 11/26/2014 – 6:55AM – The ride is CANCELLED due to rain which will only get worse during the ride time.**

How about going to Yaphank today? The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 and 15.0 mph depending on the wind direction and other factors. The road speed on this ride will be between 15 and 17 mph. There are a few places along the route where one can stretch the legs if needed. Around mile 19 there will be a bathroom/deli stop.

Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30AM if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride or need directions to the start.
