NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

**UPDATE – 6:25AM – 8/13/2014 – Ride is CANCELED due to rain. It just looks like a bad all around morning and I have an appointment in the afternoon. Let’s give tomorrow a shot. **

How about going to Yaphank today? The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 and 15.2 mph depending on the wind direction and other factors. The road speed on this ride will be between 15 and 17 mph. Calling this a "B" ride because once we go over 15.0 that's what it is. There are a few places along the route where one can stretch the legs if needed. This is not a pace line. Around mile 19 there will be a bathroom/deli stop.
