NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Join me for a ride thru Bellport and Patchogue this morning with an average pace between 14.5 and 15.0 mph. naturally, the road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. The final average will depend on wind direction and other factors. There will be some place to stretch ones legs if desired. This is not a pace line.
We can stop at the Bellport docks, Mickey D's or the deli/bakery between mile 14 and 19; you decide where you want to go at the start.

Average speed will be between 12.3 and 13.9 depending on wind speed and group abilities, bring money for the great rest stop, No one left behind. New route.
Come on out to Riverhead for the 33 mile ride to Wading River and back, with plenty of varied terrain and hills (Route 51, Route 111, Little Flower, Baiting Hollow) and some nice, quiet roads, too. We re-group after the major hills, with a brief rest after the Little Flower hill.
Park in the lot south of Wendys. Rollers on Mill Rd at your own pace, faster or slower. Bring drinks and a snack for a brief stop half way. Cell phone 516-330-1542. Always check the ride calendar prior to leaving for the ride in case weather or other circumstances force a cancellation.
