NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Take LIE exit 70 south (right) about 1/2 mile to McDonalds/7-11/King Kullen lot, park in the area facing McDonalds. Ride pace will average about 13.5 mph depending on wind and rider abilities. Our break will be about midway thru the ride, Wildwood has restrooms, and a nice picnic area, but no food. Bring a snack, or we can stop at the deli for drinks and snacks. Come join us for a stroll around the neighborhoods and down to the beach. NO ONE LEFT BEHIND. Extra care taken for Newbies. Mileage depends on daylight, back before dark. Any cancellation by 4PM. Average pace is 11-12.5MPH. Terry, Irene - we miss you!
p.s. Hammerheads - if Steve has his new bike he will probably post a ride for tonight, keep checking the web site.
