NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Note: Time change to 8:30am. LIE exit 70, South 1/2 mile to McD/KK lot. Park near the McDonalds side of the lot. This is an easy 18 mile roundtrip ride, 13-13.5 mph pace. Everyone needs a breakfast, so why not start out your week with a group ride. For info. contact Bill Gravitz at 631-356-3036. Any changes will be posted by 7:30 day of ride. I am pushing up the time to 8:30 to beat the heat.

How about going to Yaphank today? The average pace for the ride will be between 14.5 and 15.0 mph depending on the wind direction and other factors. There are a few places along the route where one can stretch the legs if needed. This is not a pace line. Around mile 15 there will be a bathroom/deli stop.
