Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Join me for a ride thru Bellport and Patchogue this morning with an average pace between 14.5 and 15.0 mph. naturally, the road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. The final average will depend on wind direction and other factors. There will be some spots to stretch ones legs if desired.
There will be a stop at the deli in Bellport and then we’ll go down to the docks for our break around mile 14. If you need anything from Krebs we'll be passing them on the way.
Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:45AM if necessary. My cell phone number is 631-484-3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride, or need directions to the start.
Please join me for a ride from Hidden Pond Park in Hauppauge (where The Rinx are located), through Ronkonkoma, to our break at the Holtsville Ecology Center. Bring snacks and something to drink. Our return will go through Holbrook and Ronkonkoma. The ride will be at the upper end of the C category, with an overall average of around 12.0, and there will be cue sheets.
When you enter the park, follow the road to the first parking lot on the left. There may not be any bathroom facilities open, so make a stop before you get to the ride.
Meet in the parking lot adjacent from Flo's. Come join us for 18 miles at a B- pace and food after at Flo's. No one left behind. Big Kahuna can not make it this week for the slower paced ride. Next week we hope to run both classes again so more people can enjoy the ride.
Join our scenic backroads rides thru the Smithtown-Stonybrook area: historic places, great views, great sunsets, great folks. We are a diverse group out for an enjoyable ride and attempts at our personal best (or not). Après ride dinner always and option. Mileage varies with conditions.
