Cheez Whiz is one of a number of "processed cheese foods", a category including some types of individually wrapped cheese slices. These products contain regular cheese that has been reprocessed along with additional ingredients such as emulsifiers and stabilizing agents, such as xanthan gum or carrageenan. These products derive their tanginess and flavor from additional ingredients such as citric acid and flavoring compounds. Annatto is used for coloring. Yummy!!!
On a more serious note. My heart and prayers go out to Gregg Eisenstein and his family. Wishing you well and for a speedy recovery. Be well!!!

I tend to be long winded so please click "read more" on the bottom for the entire post. - This Saturday we’re going to Ridge again since everyone enjoyed the ride last week. It's a nice route with some good roads, and of course, some with pot holes, but what else is new.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.5 and 15mph., depending on wind conditions, and other factors we might be just a tad over 15; nothing new here. Naturally the road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average.
Around mile 18 or so we’ll make a pit stop; you can go to Mickey D’s or the deli. Maybe the umbrellas will be out. Then there will be few long spots where one can stretch the legs if desired, working off any extra calories collected at the rest stop.
My cell number is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions about this ride or need directions to the start. Always check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:45AM if necessary.

Meet at the southwest corner of the train station parking lot. We will start with a loop through the Oakdale area before heading out east through Sayville, Bayport and Blue Point, with a short rest stop at Corey Beach. Cancellation for any reason will be posted no later than 7:30AM on Saturday.
