Come along and get Re-Acquainted with your fellow "B" riders that you may NOT have
ridden with since last fall.
Dave will lead approx. half the slightly faster riders and I will lead the rest of the group.
Both groups will have sweeps and we will keep all the riders together.
This is a long post; please click “read more” at the bottom for the entire post and additional links, thanks! I heard from some members who have done this ride in the past it’s a good course. I would like to get a group together, for what appears to be a fun day.
After the ride there will be free food, live music, giveaways and wine tasting at Osprey’s Dominion as well as discounted prices on wine bottles for riders! . I have posted this as an unstructured ride since I don’t know who will show up.
However, I will be doing a B- at my usual average pace within the range. . If you don't want to do a B- pace then you might prefer to form another group ( see Tricia's post & Bob Miller's ) with riders of your own level. Yes, you have to dig in the pocket for some money; it’s for a good cause. Check the link below for more information about the ride and how to make a donation.
Please attach a comment to this posting, letting me know if you’re interested or have signed up for the ride. You may also call me at 631-484-3490. Read Bobby Ploetz's excellent description of this ride (B-). We'll meet at his car as he says he'll have balloons flying from his car. I will scour Manhattan tomorrow for balloons to attach to my car in case his balloons dissipate. 917-797-7873
