NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Pace-line riding out to McD's in Manorville at 25 miles via Patchouque Holbrook rd, Long Is. Ave, Bluepoint, Buckley, Woodside, Horseblock, Victory, Barnes, North, Mill, Halsey Manor, 111.
Meet Manovlille Kig Kullen, LIE exit 70 1/2 mile south. Easy pace will be at the lower range for this level, no one left behind. Bring money for rest stop. Please get there early.
Forecast for Thursday is for rain, so this ride is rescheduled for Friday, same time and place. Park in the King Kullen lot on the south side nearest to Montauk Highway. We will leave at 09:30am sharp, heading out to Remsenberg and Westhampton. We will take Dune road West to Cupsogue Beach County Park and take a short break on the boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Heading back, we will go to the Westhampton Beach Bakery for a snack/bathroom break, than back to Eastport. If rain cancels, the ride will be on Friday. Pace will be around 13mph. We are going to shoot for Ronkonkoma if it doesn't snow. The start is The HOLBROOK COUNTRY CLUB.
All rides will be around 15 miles I have put together several routes; choosing one in the morning which hopefully will put the wind at our backs during the return trip. We will stop for coffee and a bathroom about half way.
The average pace for the ride will be between 13.9 and 14.5 mph. The road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. No one will be dropped. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00 AM if necessary.
