NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

FORECAST LOOKS LIKE A REPEAT OF LAST WEEK WHEN WE GOT WET AND COLD.
LET'S LOOK FORWARD TO CLEAR SKIES AND WARMER TEMPERATURES.
For this ride, we'll be adding some miles and some hills as we venture into Crane's Neck.
With sunset at 7:46pm bright colored clothing and bicycle lighting, front and back, are highly recommended.
This is a hilly and structured ride through Stony Brook, Old Field, Setauket and Poquott.
Narrow roads require single file riding along most of the route. The ride allows a few locations to break-away from the group, as instructed by the ride leader, otherwise the group will stay together.
Please note: I am posting the ride for the usual Tuesday date and time. However, due to some possible scheduling conflicts next week there is a chance that I will either have to move the ride up to Monday or move it back to Wednesday. Be sure to check the Ride Calendar on Monday to see whether or not the day has been changed.
Ride through East Islip and Islip with a short rest stop at Islip Beach. Pace will be on the low end of the B- range.
Beginning with the first Tuesday ride in May the mileage will be increased to between 18 and 20.
