NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

I will post a GO/NOGO by 7:15. If the temps won't be at 32 degrees by 9:00 AM, the ride will be cancelled

How about coffee and a little exercise? The ride is going to work like this. All rides will be around 15 miles I have put together several routes; choosing one in the morning which hopefully will put the wind at our backs during the return trip. We will stop for coffee and a bathroom about half way. Coffee locations will be a deli, 7-11, Mickey D’s, Wendy’s, Subway, Bakery or a bagel shop. The average pace for the ride will be between 13.5 and 13.9 mph. The road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. No one will be dropped. Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00 AM if necessary. The March Executive board meeting will be held on Thursday the 27th at Panera Bread in Bohemia at 7:00 pm.
All members are welcome to attend and observe the boards activities. Members may participate in discussions but votes are for board members only. Any member wishing to bring business before the board is asked to contact either Jeff Meyer or Bob DeVito so the board has an opportunity to review and be prepared for discussion.
