This week we will be riding from Shoreham to Manorville and then points south. Bring $$$ for snacks. We will NOT be pushing too hard today so to accommodate those riders that have not been able to ride much. Depending on the the group's desires we may run a second, slightly faster group.
PLEASE SHOW UP ON TIME to be ready to roll by 9:00 AM.
I missed a week of training so I am doing this ride again for anyone that could not make yesterday. All are welcome not just riders training for the Century.
Check the morning of the ride for any updates or changes!
Let’s take a scenic ride through Eastport, Remsenburg and Westhampton Beach. The average pace will be between 13.5 & 13.9mph., naturally, the road speed will be slightly higher to produce the average. No one will be dropped. Around mile 21 we’ll stop at the Beach Bakery for some goodies and a bathroom break before heading back to the start. If it turns out to be another cold and windy day (BELOW 32) the mileage will be cut back. Always check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 8:00AM if necessary. My cell phone# is 631.484.3490; call anytime if you have questions.
