Halfway to a century! Weather looks somewhat iffy. 50% chance of passing shower but no significant accumulations. Good temps too. The wind will be on our side for half the ride! If anything changes weather-wise and I have to delay/cancel, I will do so early Saturday morning. No change here means it's a go.
Shooting for a high B-/low B pace (14.8-15.2mph avg, 15.5-17.5mph on the flats)
Cue sheet available here: http://ridewithgps.com/routes/4267421 Note the hills :) Don't fret, they're whipping us into shape for a nice flat century.
Please get to the parking lot 15 minutes before the posted start time to unload/sign in/etc. We meet at the Coram-Pine Shopping Center on the Dunkin Donuts side of the lot.
We will need to start heading east to add on the miles and thought we could use a change of scenery. Please note the time change! We will keep to the pace of 13.5 - 14 with a faster pace on the straights. There will be a rest stop at McDonald's or the bagel shop at around mile 16. The weather is not promising so in the event that we need to postpone I am going to try and repost for Sunday. Any cancellations will be posted by 7 am. If you have any questions feel free to contact my cell at 631-767-3176.
