Details (RL read field instructions carefully):

We will go to Patchogue today. The road speed will be 15.5/17.0  Pulling is always appreciated but not required. We can go to Mc Donalds around the 20 mile mark. This route is is a little rolly on Woodside. Then going back we have a small hill, real small. Not to worry you can all do it, no biggie.

The average pace for the ride will be between 14.9 to 15.0 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability, tailwinds, downhills, break-a-ways and other conditions. All of these conditions could change the final average one way or the other. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (15 -17 mph.) to produce the average.

If you are a rider who wants to step up from a C+/B- I would suggest that you – 1. Have been able to ride with at least a 14 average. Remember, my rides come in at 15 +/-. Look up my ride averages. You will be doing roads speeds between 15-17 mph. 2. Most important ask your C+/B- ride leader if he/she thinks this move up is for you. Naturally, if you have a small problem I will help you along the way.

Any cancellation due to weather, or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0715 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
