    Come and enjoy cycling the beautiful east end of Long Island.
    Ride the 37th Annual Bike Boat Bike.

    NEW Start LOCATION ... AND free lunch after the ride!

    The Suffolk Bicycle Riders Association (SBRA) invites you to cycle Long Island's East End. Tour through the woodlands, fields, and back roads of eastern Long Island. The longer routes take the ferry and cycle through the scenic coves and byways of beautiful Shelter Island. Ride with friends, family or join a group and make new friends. Whether your preference is social, scenic viewing, or fast recreational cycling, we are sure you will enjoy the tour. Bike Boat Bike has beautiful rolling terrain with hills, and a few more challenging hills on Shelter Island.

    ALL NEW ROUTES!!! All routes start and end at the same location.
    Routes are from 25 to 100 miles with Rest Stops and SAG support.

    with fund raising cycling events for
    27 years and America's VetDogs® since it was established in 2003.

    25 miles: South fork
    45 miles:
    (includes Shelter Island)  South fork and goes to Shelter Island (South ferry)
    60 miles: (includes Shelter Island)  South fork and goes to Shelter Island (South ferry)  
    75 miles: (includes Shelter Island) South fork and goes to Shelter Island (South ferry)
    100 miles: (includes Shelter Island) South fork and goes to Shelter Island (South ferry) 
    *Registration does not include ferry fare.
    All Rides are non-escorted rides.

    Tour Provides:
    There will be maps, cue sheets, registration bracelets and marked roads.
    Rest stops along each route provide a variety of sandwiches, snacks, energy bars, water and Gatorade (and portable bathrooms).
    SAG support vehicles will assist BRACELETED REGISTERED RIDERS until 4:00 pm.


    Food is provided during the ride AND after the ride:

    During your ride enjoy a variety of sandwiches, fruit, trail mix, cookies, energy bars, water and Gatorade. After your ride, join us for a FREE lunch with a variety of great food options and drinks.

    Meet an America's VetDogs® service dog in training:
    After the ride, be sure to stop over at the America's VetDogs area to say hello to a few of the special dogs in training to become a service dog and their trainers.

    Event T-Shirt:
    FREE EVENT T-SHIRT FOR ALL REGISTERED RIDERS.
    Size guaranteed if registered by April 30. All others will receive a t-shirt of whatever size(s) is(are) still available.

    Important Note:
    There will be NO day-of-event registration. The online registration cutoff date may be moved up as well based on the number of early registrations.
    Please register early to guarantee your spot for this event.

    Check-In NOT Required:
    Registered riders will receive all materials (required event wrist band, t-shirt, cue sheets and instructions) in the mail prior to the event.
    **** Lost t-shirts and/or wrist bands will NOT be replaced. ****
    ALL RIDERS WILL NEED to show their wrist band to access the parking area.
    When you arrive at the parking area you can park your car, get a quick drink or snack, then get on your bike and go.
     
     

    Parking:
    Parking is available at the ride start location. Please, no parking on any grass area.

    Start Times:
    100 mile riders can start at 7:00 am and it is suggested to be on the road no later than 7:30 am.
      75 mile riders should be on the road between 7:30 am and 8:00 am.
      60 mile riders should be on the road between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
      45 mile riders should be on the road between 8:30 am and 9:00 am.
      25 mile riders
    should be on the road between 9:30 am and 10:00 am.

    NO Day-of-event registration
    Children under 12 are half-price but MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    Registration fees are NOT REFUNDABLE. Registration fee does NOT include ferry fares.
    Please bring $10 in singles. Exact ferry fares will be posted at the information table and on the cue sheets.

    Mailing of Registration Materials:
    Registration materials will be mailed no later than 10 days prior to the event.
    SBRA is NOT responsible for incorrect addresses or zip codes entered on the registration form that may delay delivery. If your registration materials are returned to us you must pick them up at the information table on the day of the event.

    Requirements:
    All riders must fill out and sign a registration/release form.
    Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    All riders must wear an approved helmet, ANSI or SNELL (CPSC - Consumer Product Safety Commission).
    Cycling safety and strict adherence to all state cycling laws and rules of the road are imperative (see links below).
    We suggest you carry identification and any pertinent medical information with you at all times.
    Bicycles should be in good working order.
