    Calverton Memorial Park (Field)

    From the West:
    Take the Long Island Expressway (495) to Exit 69 (Wading River Rd). Turn left and take Wading River Rd north, approx four miles to Route 25. Turn right and take route 25 east for approximately ½ mile. Entrance to complex will be on the right hand side.

    Calverton Mt. Biking Trail

    Located on north side of Rt 25 at 1/2 mile east of Wading River - Manor Road. Small parking lot just after Wading River Motel.
    DEC Permit required.

    Campus Bike, Stony Brook

    Meet at Campus Bike in Stony Brook. 50 miles out to Boy Scout Hill/Hole, down to Mill Rd back on Canal. B+/A pace. Good mix of terrain. Unstructured. No cue sheets. Will keep the group together.

    Carlos pizza, north Shirley

    451 Glen Drive, Shirley 11967. Carlos is located right off William Floyd Parkway in north Shirley. LIE exit 68 south or 27 exit 58 north. Cross road is Moriches -MiddleIsland road. The shopping center is across from 7-11. There is another lot behind the buildings in the north west corner, that's where we meet.

    Cathedral Pines

    Take 495 East to Exit 66 sills Rd (Patchogue Yaphank Rd), bear left at Expressway Dr South (service road). Turn left at Patchogue Yaphank Rd. Bear right at Mill Rd. Bear left at Yaphank-Middle Island Rd. Look for park entrance on left.

    Cedar Creek Pk/Jones Beach r.t.

    This ride is on a paved path between Cedar Creek Park and Jones Beach. The path, which runs along the east side of Wantagh State Parkway, is 4.3 miles long (to the Jones Beach parking lots). It's just over 5 miles (crossing the parking lots) to the beach. Thus a round trip is between 8.6 and 10.2 miles.

    Cedar Creek Park is on the south side of Merrick Rd. just east of Wantagh Parkway at Larch St.
    The parking lot closest to the bike path is in the south west corner of the Park.

    Center Moriches King Kullen Lot

    Corner of Montauk Highway and Lake Avenue. We generally park on the east side closer to SCNB.

    Center Moriches RR Station Parking Lot

    Railroad Avenue in Center Moriches. If coming east on Montauk Highway, you would make a left on Railroad Ave. (big white church on corner). The parking lot of the old station will be on the right. If coming east on the Bypass (Frowein), you would make a right on Railroad Ave and see it on your left. There is no bathroom (just the woods) so use a bathroom at Wendy's or McDonald's on your way.

    The Southold RR Station is located one block north of Rte. 25 and Youngs Ave. There are parking lots just south of the RR Station.

    Commack - Pet Smart Lot

    We meet in the parking lot behind the Pet Smart in Commack. The exact address is 2160 Jericho Turnpike Commack, NY 11725. It is on the south side of Jericho Turnpike 1/4 mile west of the Sunken Meadow Parkway.

    County Center/Riverhead

    Located off Route 24/Edwards Avenue/Nugent Dr. on County Center Drive/Route 51. Coming on the LIE East take exit 71. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 24 (also called Edwards Ave to the left and Nugent Drive to the right). Take this til you pass the jail on the right. Continue past the jail and go in the right turn lane to go onto Rte 51/County Center Drive. We usually park along the road in the last parking lot. There is no bathroom here so stop prior or continue straight after the jail thru the circle; straight on rte 24 to the McDonald's on the left.

    Cathedral Pines MTB trail. Just enter the park and turn left on the unpaved parking area, the trail head is at the very end.

    Come out and enjoy a nice easy B ride to Manorville. Stop at McDonald's/ Bagel Store Quick pee then we had Back.

    This will be a easy B ride for all those that have been off their bikes and have been hibernating.

    There is a parking lot north of Rte 25, Main St. Cutchogue in back of Country Delicatessen. It is next to the Post Office on Griffin Street. It is sort of katty-corner from Firehouse where we used to park.

    From the intersection of Wading River Road and South Street, head 0.8 miles west, then turn left onto Dayton Avenue.   Continue about 1 mile, the school will be on your left.  The location is: 151 Dayton Avenue, Manorville, NY 11949

    Dune Road - East End - by Shinnecock Inlet

    The Charles Altenkirch City Park is located at the east end of Dune Road one mile east of Ponquogue Bridge. One can get to Dune Road via the Ponquogue Bridege in Hampton Bays or bridges in Westhampton Beach and Quogue. Free Parking !!
