Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 12.3 - 12.8 . We are going to leave the Timber Point Golf Course and ride through Connetquot, Bohemia, and Sayville, where we will take a brief break (bring your own snacks). Then we will return to the golf course in time to have lunch at the cafe at the golf course (if you want to). Hopefully we can beat the heat on this ride The ride is relatively flat with a two mile optional down/up hill in Shoreham at the 3/4 point of the ride that some may want to wait out. Here’s the link: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33536006
The pace will be adjusted to the heat. The ride will be following the SBRA COVID-19 Guidelines. I would like to limit the group to four or five riders. PLEASE text me with your rider info. I will asking riders to maintain at least 20' separation (hence the ride name). I will try to minimize calling out road hazards and be pointing to them instead … also with such a small group I will ask the warning of “car back” be only shouted out by the last rider and not repeated up the line.
You must have a mask on your person to do this ride ... I've been able to wear the multi-layer mask at ready as lowered around my neck while riding and would suggest you do the same.
The McDonald's at Wading River Road @16 & 20 miles is open and has one bathroom available. We'll be stopping for a scheduled break at the 20 mile point of the ride.
Check back later for more info and on the day of the ride before leaving the house.

The old saying is "third time is a charm" so we are off to Nettie's again. This will be a C+ ride, which will average 12 - 12.6 (I promise, Christine). The distance is approximate, as I still have to work out my route, but it will be close. We may have some water views, but I can't promise that. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. (I may make one change to eliminate a hill.)
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.

Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 12.2 - 12.8. We will be riding to East Islip, where we will take our break at the Timber Point Golf Course. Snacks and bathrooms are available. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Due to possible weather issues, the exact route will be determined the morning of the ride (thus, no cue sheets).
