Shea's have graciously endowed me with this weeks hill ride. North Country road has been repaved (except for 1 block east of Norman Drive, to help us appreciate the repaved part). This is a group ride but in the hills and Burnham some like to light it up-no worries, we regroup after all hard sections (normal wait-up points). This weeks special is 51 & 111, don't miss it; it's like castor oil, sucks going down but makes you stronger.
It's time to head out from Southaven County Park to Wading River, over flat to rolling terrain!
Along the outbound route, we'll visit the new Dayton Avenue. Then its up Wading River Road to the bagel stop at around 17 miles.
We'll return down Route 25A to 25 and Burman Avenue for some more fun paceline work. That it's the run up Grumman Hill and down Wading River Road. But, this time we'll try out the new Weeks Avenue, before we reach the neighborhoods and hit William Floyd Parkway and Victory Boulevard for the finish.
Come out and ride and leave the small chainring behind... :)
