NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Lake tour minus one lake unless Dam Rd opens this week.  If it is open we will do the usual ride plus an extra mile at the end. If it is still closed, we will skip the Peconic Lake Loop and after the stop at Wildwood Lake, we will take CR 51 south to CR 111 North to Halsey Manor Rd then Mill Rd back. 

This is a B+/A- ride and a steady pace is a must.

Off to Briermere"s, with a brief viewing of the America Bison herd if they are in a field near the road.  Briermere's has picnic tables and restrooms, and individual servings of baked products, as well as pies.  If you want to share the cost of a pie, and there are at least 4 pie eaters, bring cash.  Hot and cold drinks are available at Briermere's. To join this ride, text Bill G. , at 631-356-3036,  with your full name and the date of the ride.  Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which woulld be posted by 07:45am.

Starting at 10 AM

Join me for this ride from Calverton, where we will ride on the back roads around Manorville, then go up toward Wildwood. We will take our break at the deli outside the park, where tables and a bathroom are available. This is a C ride, which will average 11.1 - 11.6, depending on the winds, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride.

Last minute ride Medford to Wherever. Ride will be approximately an hour and half long. Park at the sunshine mall Medford and ride. Nobody gets dropped casually cruising. Not looking to have a 21MPH ride. Just looking to spin the legs and get miles.

Ride starts at Islip Bank of America and goes around the Islips.  This is a C+/B- ride, cruising at 14 to 16 mph to get an average of 13 to 14 mph.  Any changes will be posted at least 90 minutes before the ride.
