NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Stomach bug going thru my house. Off to Shinnecock Inlet, with bathroom stops at miles 10, 27 and 30.  The ride has about 15 miles on Dune Road, and predicted winds will be light.  If the winds become stronger, mileage on Dune Road will be decreased, and we will do a Quogue Meander with about 32 miles total.  Bring snacks and drinks for rest stops, and we will go to a pocket park in Westhampton Beach (7 miles prior to end of ride) for a longer stop, near a bakery and 7-11. To join this ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036 with your full name and date of ride.  Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 07:15am.
