Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. Sorry, I had to shorten the ride a bit. I need to be in Smithtown by noon. Weather should be perfect on Sat so I decided to hit the beach. Quick rest stop at Smith Point beach before returning. Ride will be on the highend of B/B+ range.
No need to be 20 mins early. Just be ready to ride at 8:30.
Call or txt if you have any questions (347-922-3824).
I put the pace down a half-step lower, so we can have everyone ride together - before people begin to disappear into the gyms for the long cold winter.
On the way East, we'll ride through Deep Hole and paceline through the fields. After a nice Briermere stop, we'll ride back through the fields and the S-Curve, before we finish via River and Old River Roads.
We hope to see you all...
Exile on Main Street, probably the Rolling Stones greatest album with Country, Gospel, Blues and some rocking numbers (search "exile on main street original track 1 song", and you'll see.. ).
