NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

 Texting doesn't work reliably when I don't have wifi.  Before 8:30, texting is fine.

Join me on an easy pace (14/15 cruising on flats) leading to North Shore hills, mostly in Port Jeff, Mt. Sinai and Old Field.

Agony--1000+ feet of climbing.  Some hills are challenging.

Ecstasy-- low B- on flats and NO PRESSURE on climbing.  Take hill at your own pace. And you will feel so great that you did it!

Break at 21 miles at Dunkin’.

Changes or cancellation for any reason will be posted by 7:30am.  Be sure to check back morning of ride.

Later start - this C+ ride, which will average 12.0 - 12.8, no one gets dropped, and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Route to be determined the morning of the ride, so no cue sheets.

We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 24 mile ride.  The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
