NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

As usual I'll be the Ride Organizer and not the lead rider for most of the ride. Regardless of your ability you can always hang with me as I'm slower than lots of faster riders.

SBRA insurance requires that Mtn Bike riders MUST sign a Ride Sign In sheet for each Mtn Bike ride. 

You must have a mask on your person to ride and we will try to maintain more than 15 feet apart in the woods.

Off to Smith Point, with a possible additional 5 miles to Osprey Pointe, if everyone in the group wants to extend the mileage, and the weather is ok. Bring snacks for both stops, we do pass a 7-11 and can make a stop if needed. Smithpoint has restrooms, and porta-potties are available at Wertheim. We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 21 mile ride.  The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.

Changes or cancelation will be posted by 1:00pm day of ride.
