The aliens have said that we'll have blue skies on Sunday, to make up for Saturday! Let's ride!

Mr. Blue Sky will be here today: https://youtu.be/LMY5xe36cfE  But, we may have a little wind, so the route will take us along roads that have some shelter. So some more rolling terrain like Mill Road, but no Harts Road this time! 

There will be a few regroups along the route, but no real stop. We want to warmup and stay warm - so bring enough bottles and fuel for the full ride.

This will be a true B ride.  We will keep together as a group. Come mix it up!

NOTE: Ride venue HAS CHANGED due to rain & trail conditions.... Calverton dries very quickly and will not have much mud.

An access/parking permit is needed from DEC: https://www.sbraweb.org/node/6490 ... easy to obtain ... else park at Vet's Park across RT25 and ride over (5 minutes) ... let me know to wait if necessary.

Also, As a DEC property Bow Hunting is active in a narrow band of the woods ... wear something bright and a bell on the handle bar doesn't hurt ... We haven't seen any hunters there this year yet and we pass through that area very quickly.

This 18-25 mile ride will be at an 12-13 pace depending on riders, wind, tide, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. No One gets left behind (unless your name is "No One") and newbies always welcome and well taken care of. Bring water and a snack as a back up to planned rest stops. Any cancellation will be before 8:30AM.

Park in farthest lot on Northeast side of RR (east of main station). No need to text me. Ride participants please arrive 15 minutes early in order to get yourself ready.

CHANGE: start is from the Railroad Station.

As I said for Friday's ride, I had to take some time off the bike, so this is another easy, flat, and short ride to ease me back on the bike. This will be a C ride, with an average between 11.0 - 11.5. If you are experiencing any type of knee or hip pain, this is the ride for you!

The exact route will be determined at the start, so there will not be a cue sheet for this ride. As always, we will take a break somewhere and there will be a bathroom availoable.  

Park on the SOUTH side of the train station.

Update:  7:45am, Sunday.  The ride is on, probably not going to Briermere's. Destination, speed and mileage will depend on the wind.   Be sure to check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 08:15am.
