Join me for this Easter Ride from Eastport to Westhampton. We will ride part of Dune Road, and the direction will be determined by the winds that day. We will take our break in Westhampton at the Beach Bakery, where bathrooms and food are available.
This is a C+/B- ride, which will average 13.3 - 13.9, partly depending on the winds, the riders, etc. The exact route will be determined at the start, so there willnot be a cue sheet for this ride.

We leave from the west side parking lot of Speonk station. We will be exploring a few new roads that I have never been on before! Depending on the wind we will either cross at Jessop or Beach onto Dune road. After17 miles we will arrive at a bagel shop, (new to me), in East Quogue. Next stop will be Quogue wildlife preserve, then onto West Hampton Beach where we will stop for a 2nd break/snack. Bathrooms hopefully at the bagel shop, if not then there is a park in East quogue or the wildlife reserve.
Changed to a C+ Short but sweet at West Hampton Bakery some hills slow but steady no one dropped ever I hope check back two hours before in case of bad weather questions call or text cell 631-484-1650 after 7am or before 7pm please we will follow all the COVID rules listed below. Masks will be used at all stops.
We head out to Westhampton Beach for a bathroom break at mile 8. Our group than takes the Jessup Avenue Bridge to Dune road, heading East, stopping for some bay and ocean views on the way to Shinnecock Inlet. We take a break at the inlet, nosh on the snacks we brought along, hit the porta-potties, and head back West, Using the Quogue Bridge we return to the mainland for a little sightseeing, a possible stop at the Quogue Preerve, and a final stop at the pocket park next to the Beach Bakery in Westhampton Beach. The parking lot we started from is 7 miles from this stop. Wind and tide are not our friends on this ride, and could result in changes of speed, mileage and destination. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 08:00am. This is a long ride, so check your calendar to make sure you have the time for it.
