UPDATE- 7:45am – The ride is CANCELLED. Cinco de Mayo festivities are a GO and will begin at the Mi Tierrita Restaurant at 1:00pm. See you there.

Update – 7:30am – 5/4/2019 – NOTE: If the ride is cancelled due to weather the festivities will still go on. They will start at 1:00pm at the Mi Tierrita Restaurant as planned. If the ride needs to be cancelled I will update the morning of the ride.

My ride will bea "B-" ride +/- a wee bit!!...Other ride leaders are welcome to join in, and lead a group at a different pace. Well, it’s Cinco de Mayo, and I have a great ride, and a fun day planned for you. Just ask those who attended last year. No need to ask for the day off this year, it’s on a Sunday! There is going to be good tasting, real Columbian food. The ride will start from the Mi Tierrita restaurant and go to Smith's Point. The first bathroom break will be around mile 10, next one at the beach, bring a snack for the beach if you want.

When the ride is officially over; its back to the restaurant for some excellent Columbian food. There will be several varieties of cold drinks; Personally, I think the Cadillac Sangria is to die for, also try the Margarita Sangria; because of that and the jelly donuts is the reason I ride. One tiny winy thing, I might mention, it’s NOT FREE so bring some US Dollars or Columbian Peso’s with you; the exchange rate will be announced. For your entertainment  there will be a mariachi band, or a reggae band playing for your enjoyment. So, come on, let’s have another fun filled day with your friends. Non riders are also welcome. 

The average pace for the ride will be between 14.5 to 15.0 mph, +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, and other conditions.
