NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We will ride out to the bean and bagel for a break a little past half way through the ride. Speed will be 15-18mph. Check back day of ride for any changes by 7am.
Ride some rolling hills from Bethpage to Sagamore Hill(and yes it is a hill road). Looking for the wild turkey of Sagamore. Some other hills may be added or NOT! Mileage listed is an estimate subject to change at the whim of the ride leader, but will not vary more than 5 miles up or down. Deli/Bakery Stop in Oyster Bay after riding back down from Sagamore Hill. No Go in Rain or Very wet roads. Cancellation if needed will be posted at least one hour before ride start time
Out to Manorville today ..stopping at mile 22 at McDonalds for a food/rest break. We stay together and this ride will be a pace line. If you are looking to move up from a fast B pace you should try this ride.
Park in the King Kullen lot in the area closest to McDonalds and 7-11. Primary stop is at Briermere for snacks and coffee. If enough riders want to share the cost of a pie, I will bring napkins, plates, cutlery and a pie server. If the American Bison are in the corral closest to Reeves Ave., we will make a short stop there on the way to Briermere. For info. contact Bill Gravitz at 631-356-3036. Check ride calendar day of ride for any changes, which will be posted by 7:00am. Average speed will be 14-14.5mph, depending on wind, temp., rider ability and road conditions.
Quick 20 miler (maybe more, maybe less, depending on groups ability as I have to be back by 11am) loop at an 11-12.5 pace as I have responsibilities to take care of this afternoon. Newbies always welcome. Any cancellation by 7:30AM.
Had to change ride because of event taking place in Westhampton,To Briermere for good stuff bring money will maintain C+ pace allowing for wind and who shows up, no one left behind.
