Early Birds North
Lets do the Early Bird north again and move it to 9 for the cold. I have kicked it up to Bt/A so the A guys can make a group, .We will not regroup at the V where the 4 lane starts {Rt 48}Rather, stay on the cue and go onto Rt 25 in Mattituck, there is a deli there across the street from Starbucks, lets meet there and "A" guys can either wait or take off. It is the turn around point, I Yl stop for coffee. The deli used to have a rowboat in front. I will have cue sheets at the start. Penny Road included on the ride.I am always reluctant to cancel but if it is 15 degrees or so, there would be no point in going. Watch your e mails early Sunday AM for any problems.Can I talk or explain anymore, Lawdy,Lawdy, I even get sick of hearing me.7speed

The roads down here are fine. I don't know about Manorville but in East Moriches they are fine. I even had them revise the wind forecast downward. See you tomorrow.

Hi to everyone. Since I do not make decisions well, I plan on being in Manorville for a 9:00 start. If we decide the roads are too dangerous, we can alter the route as a group..but keep this is in mind, there is a tremendous disparity between my north shore area..Miller Place and Bellport. There is nothing here where I live and some spots in Bellport that could be seen as icey. See you guys in the AM. 7speed

Hopefully we won't get too much snow tomorrow. If we get snow we might want to change to the big roads. Lets hope we can ride. I wouldn't want my friend Steve to get snowed out.

I am becoming concerned with
I am becoming concerned with my ride on Sunday because of snow and so urge you to check the website about its status. I also am concerned about being able to cancel it since I never had to before. meaning changing the status . will play with it now but may have to use this venue to let evereyone know if it is a go.Thanks. 7 speed

Another option for the "A"
Another option for the "A" riders would be to continue on Middle Rd (Rt 48) to Alvahs or Depot or Bridge, turn right, down to 25, right again and hook up with the others. This would provide a few more miles without stopping.
